Asperger Characteristic

Asperger Syndrome is a sub-type of Autism which is a neurological disorder.  Asperger Characteristic include that they are typically the higher functioning individuals in the Autism Spectrum.  Some of them go to college and many have regular jobs.  They typically have personalities that are a little different.  People with Asperger Syndrome may be "into themselves" and have trouble relating to others feelings, emotions and actions.  They may be able to read and memorize large, complicated books (such as medical books), but they may not be able to put that information to use or answer questions about it even though it is memorized.
