Possible causes of
autism at this time are numerous. The leading cause in
many people's minds is that their child's autism began after a
vaccination.

Brominated
flame retardants (BDEs) are used in kids pajamasas well as in
computers. They
include poly-, penta-, octa-, and deca-brominated diphenyl and
are related to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) which were
outlawed in the 1970s. Many
computer companies still also use mercury, lead and other
chemicals in central processing units and monitors.
At the University of California, Davis, researchers are
studying a possible link to the fire retardants and autism.

Many autistic people have multiple food allergies or
sensitivities. They
are typically allergic to gluten which is the break down of wheat, rye,
barley and oats which is Celiacs
Disease as well as casein which is the break down of dairy
products. Surprisingly,
these
two foods have almost the exact same chemical make-up. When
the offending food crosses from the blood and goes to the
brain it can act as an opiate in the brain this is called
Leaky Gut Syndrome. It
may cause behavior problems as well as other symptoms. Many
parents have used the gluten-free/casein-free (GF/CF) diet
and have seen great improvement or recovery
especially in young children.
