autism and behavior unfortunately go hand and hand and it is normally not good behavior.  Behavioral problems including aggression, self-injury, self-stimulatory and perseverative habits.  Self-stimulatory habits are behaviors exhibited when the child is trying to calm themselves down or go into “their” own world or zone.  These responses include, but are not limited to toe walking, finger flicking, rocking and spinning objects.  ABA or Behavior Therapy can assist with these problems as well as educating your loved one.
