Vaccines may cause autism and other neurological
disorders. Many parents believe their child's
autism began with a vaccination. There are a couple of
reasons for pointing at vaccinations. There is the use of
multiple vaccines at one time, the side-effects of the different
vaccines that the government admits to and the use of mercury in
vaccines. The pharmaceutical companies have been using mercury as a
preservative. Mercury is also sold under the
brand name Thimerosal produced by Eli Lilly, a pharmaceutical
company, and was used because it is a
relatively cheap preservative.
Unfortunately, the drug
companies have lobbied our politicians quite aggressively.
The government continues to support an
aggressive
immunization schedule that requires young children to receive
numerous vaccinations by the time they are 18 to 24 months of
age for diseases that are almost eradicated from the United
States. As a parent, I have done a fair amount of research
and I believe immunizations do not need to be done
in such a short period of time and while a baby's immune system
is still developing. Please, do your research and decide what
is best for you and your child! You might rethink your
decision to immunize your child or get a flu shot after you do
your research. Remember to look at who is funding any
studies or reports you read. I know that I thought that
I was being a good parent by getting my son immunized according
to the recommended schedule. I wish I knew then what I know
now.
Most drug companies
will readily admit that it is not cost effective to make
medications and vaccines that the targeted population will not
take for a life-time. They keep adding more and more
vaccines that are required by the government for each child in
the United States. That means a lot of money for the
pharmaceutical companies. The top drug companies in the US
spent more money paying out dividends to stock holders and
buying back stock then they paid for research last year.
They are definitely making money.
