Cranial
Sacral Therapy has helped keep my son healthy! He would
get head and chest colds from the first day back at school and
we would battle them all year. When we first started this
therapy, I noticed he wasn't getting sick, but figured I had the
right vitamin combination. Then the teacher that had told
me about cranial sacral therapy, mentioned that her daughter
stayed healthier while they were receiving therapy. I had
attributed his good health to the right combination of
vitamins. I now believe that the vitamins helped, but it
was the cranial work he was having done that was the key! We quit going to the therapy since it is somewhat
expensive and sure enough he got sick again. We have
started again (its worth the expense in the long run!) and his
dad and I have been sick and most of the kids at school and so
far (knock on wood) he's stayed healthy!!! Cranial
Sacral work can be done for many different aliments having to do
with the nervous system. Injuries to the head, neck and
spine, headaches including migraines, dizziness, and even babies
with colic to name a few. You
can go to an Osteopathic Physician for this type of therapy or
to the Upledger Institute website. Dr. John E. Upledger,
D.O., O.M.M., D.Sc., is credited as pioneering the field of
cranial sacral therapy. On his website, he lists by state
the therapists that have gone through his training. Some
of his books include:
