Occupational Therapy (OT): is a therapy carried out by a trained occupational therapist. They provide ways to gain muscular control and coordination that deal with everyday tasks from being able to button a shirt to employment tasks. The therapist works with the patient as well as suggests equipment and exercises for the targeted fine motor skill. They are employed by hospitals, school districts and private companies such as rehabilitation centers.
